Project Description:

After constructing their arm from Lego and pneumatic kits, students will investigate force, pressure, area and draw pneumatic circuits to understand fully how to achieve the best results for their pneumatic arm. Students will also discover how pressure and piston performance are related.

In this lesson the core concepts focused on will be: 

• Pressure volume and force relationships

Note: All lessons include a presentation and a hands on building period which they then use to perform various tests.
