Project Description: 

The focus of the lesson will be on wheels, torque and gear ratios. Students will apply their knowledge to build a simple motorized mechanism (a car) capable of motoring along at various speeds. They will also be challenged to experiment with gear ratios and wheel sizes to optimize the performance of their car on a ramp.

Note: All lessons include a presentation and a hands on building period which they then use to perform various tests.
