Grade 11 – RTH11 – Bump Bot

BumpBot1

Project Description:

With this exciting take home students will build a rumba style Bump Bot. After their initial lesson, students will get to put their knowledge of circuit diagrams to the test by incrementally wiring their robots using breadboards. We will go over parallel and series circuits, switches and loads, and the symbols that represent them.  Students will investigate the effect of electron flow on the torque generated by the Bump Bot as well as the effect of potential difference on the speed of the robot.
